Pollak Candies operates the website pollakcandies.com and the sweet shop at 237 E Main St, Carnegie, PA 15106, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or place an order, why we hold it and how long it stays with us.

We collect only what an order requires. That normally means a name, a telephone number or email address, the contents of the order and the pickup date you have agreed with us. Where an order is placed for a company we also record the company name and any billing reference given to us. We do not ask for card numbers by email or telephone and do not store card details after a transaction is completed at the counter.

Information is used to prepare and hand over your order, to answer the question you have sent us, and to keep the records we are required to keep for tax and food safety purposes. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list without a clear request to be added.

Correspondence sent to marinagrecka105@gmail.com is held in our email account. Order notes are kept on paper in the shop and destroyed once the accounting period has closed. Records that tax law obliges us to retain are kept for the period that law prescribes and no longer.

Our website is a set of static pages. It does not host user accounts, comment forms or checkout functions, and it does not build a profile of the people who read it. Any information we hold about you has therefore been given to us directly, by email, by telephone or in person at the counter.

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. Write to marinagrecka105@gmail.com or speak to us in the shop and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within thirty days.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page and applies to any order placed after that date.
